Dr Fred Alan Wolf is an American physicist who specializes in quantum physics. His love of physics goes back to his childhood when he saw the first atomic bomb explode via newsreels throughout the media. His curiosity coupled with an intelligent brain made it possible for him to learn how physics and consciousness work together […]

Something from Nothing by Fred Alan Wolf
“Something from Nothing” explains Physicist Fred Alan Wolf is how Quantum Mechanics is leading us to a time when the relationship between the objective physical and the subjective individual is starting to be fudged!
Quantum Mechanics is used to account for the sub atomic quantum mechanical level of life having both wave and particle properties at the same time. To do this Quantum mechanics incorporates probability statistics to describe what’s there at that level. However, being only probabilities means that it is only a field of possibilities or probabilities and not actual or physical. In other words it’s “Nothing”.
It doesn’t become actual or physical until an observer collapses the wave function of probabilities to a certainty.
Nothing becomes Something!

Biographies
Biographies of Quantum Enigmatists Species Universe offers biographies of those generally considered Quantum Enigmatists (see the Quantum Enigmatists page for a definition to the term). However, a few not necessarily associated with this perspective are included because of their clear understanding of their discipline and for their contribution to the concept of nothing as the […]
